Seriously guys, claim your rep, either way. It would be cool if it could be made so that it can't be done anonymously, but no matter what it is nice to be able to know who your friends and enemies are.

Thanks Urk! It's not my desire to get into a neg reping war over it, it just rubs me the wrong way when I get a neg rep (which isn't too often; usually from Jerich ) and then no name is left.

I actually like Evanescence's music and Amy Lee's voice in particular. I know nothing of the particulars behind this latest band split or the first one with Ben Moody for that matter. Frankly I could care less who is performing the music as long as it sounds good to me.

There might not be any loyalty in the band, but I would have to say that loyalty can sometimes be misplaced. They say that blood is thicker than water, but clichés are even thicker than that. If someone in your life is dragging you down, I could give a rat's spleen what your relationship is to them, get them out of your life, pronto.

Amy Lee could very well be a US prime grade A stamped and guaranteed bitch, but if she holds on to people who are dragging her brand name down, she's a dumbass as well. We don't know the whole story, obviously, and most likely never will, but this is business, and her corporation has a product to market: her. All else is secondary.

I've never been that impressed by Evanescence. But the "female lead singer becomes star and band falls apart" story has been told many times before.

Sooo...yes evanessance. I think they're time is up. Amy lee should just go solo. For everyones own good, and i don't think many people would wanna be joining the "band" because of the amount of people that have left and been fired. Unless they wanna try and have a crack at amy, lol thats prob why the drummer left. He was like fuck, she's firing people, i can't get in her pants. Smart guy! It all makes sense now!!

Seriously though, to go back on the history of the band, it's always been Amy Lee + main guitarist/songwriter. First it was Ben Moody, now Terry Balsamo.

You can argue that she's a bitch, and I think she probably sometimes is. But by her own admission, she's a control freak, and I think if she indeed fired LeCompt, it was probably because she felt his side project was taking up too much time.

Lars and James from Metallica wouldn't let Jason and Kirk work on side projects either, which is I think partially why Jason left. It's not just Amy Lee that's a control freak or asshole/bitch in this industry.

The whole Moody thing was a control issue plus the fact that he is bipolar, a fact that he now admits to and has seeked help for.

The rest of the band has always been "hired" guns, and if you look at who wrote each album they have very little input.

It's either Amy + Ben or Amy + Terry. With the lovefest that Amy heaps upon Terry, I doubt he's going anywhere anytime soon. So I am sure they'll be fine.
