MTV had that reality show for bands wanting to be on Ozzfest once upon a time, and I forget what it's called.

Anyway, they had one episode where Dimmu Borgir goes on some radio show and gets thrown off the air for swearing. I figure it has to be on youtube somewhere.

While responding to a question from the DJ regarding Judas Priest vocalist Rob Halford's sexuality, Dimmu Borgir vocalist Shagrath and guitarist Silenoz stated that the controversy surrounding Halford's homosexuality is "fucking bullshit" and that it was an honor to play on the same stage as Judas Priest. Maxwell then declared the interview over at that moment and cut to a commercial. During the commercial break, Maxwell and station management ordered the band to leave WMMS studios. After coming back from commercial, the DJ insulted Dimmu Borgir on the air, urging Ozzfest attendees to throw rocks and other items at the stage during their set on the main stage Thursday.

This fucker asks a disrespectful question about Halford (who cares about his sexuality, as long as he rocks ?), gets an intelligent answer and then insults Dimmu Borgir because of two poor words, wanting the public to be violent and belligerant during their show.

Stupidity at its peak.

I remember that basically some guys were organizing what they were doing and they really didn't want to be there, so they weren't being serious and eventually got kicked out.

^ Sounds to me more like some stupid DJ felt the need to bring up something that is a complete non-issue, and he got called on it. Good for Dimmu.
