Where'd they get that recording of me covering satch?

Funny thing is, I suspect the guitarist who did this is actually really good - the tone's a dead ringer, and when he's not landing on the wrong note or choking, his touch and articulation is actually quite good. And most of the bad notes are a half step off where they should be - I think this is totally a joke by a fairly accomplished player.

On the Satch video, the tone does seem to be very close, and it seems like he's struggling to play so badly. I'd like to hear him do some proper covers

I dunno what's funnier though, the badly overdubbed guitar or both of them mincing around like two ponces at a ponce convention, trying to outponce each other

I totally agree, the player is obviously skilled, but that to me is what makes this funny. If it were just another idiot making random noise it would just be,... well random noise actually.
