Believe in Nothing/The Heart Collector...

I can't get enough of these two songs. I could seriously sit for hours and loop these two songs and play nintendo for a while or something. I am hooked.

Loomis's tone and the first few opening chord of Believe in Nothing are amazing. Followed up by the clean guitar parts and... the only thing I can say about these two songs is WOW! I can't say I relate to the lyrics but you can tell they are deep and well thought out.

Say, what amps where being used back then? I think I remember reading that he used a Dual Rec?

I'll definately learn those two tunes asap when my seven gets here. They are not too terribly difficult to play and it will give me something to play along with when my wife is gone and I can crank my 5150.

After Simon bites that Skeleton’s face in half, he is going to rape that hydra. That’s how Simon rolls..

Yeah, both amazing songs. The main lead part right before the first verse in The Heart Collector is incredible. It hits me emotionally every time I hear it. Whoever says that EMGs or Rectos can't get good lead tones need to check out Loomis' stuff on that whole album.

DHIADW = teh awesomeness. One of my top 5 favorite albums of all time for sure.

Absolutely love these 2 songs, two of my favourite nevermore songs for sure.It really speaks volumes about the talent of a band when they can write excellent softer/ballad tunes, as well as kick ass heavier stuff.

Yeah, those are two seriously awesome songs. The riff in The Heart Collector is so much fun to jam out.

Actually, I prefer Dreaming in Neon Black and Politics. I think both are more solid albums, although DHIADW has my favorite song by them.

Dreaming neon black is absolutly the peak of their songwriting IMO! Its so damn emotionally deep. I love DHIADW too,it was the album that made me switch to sevens and the first album I heard by Nevermore. I like their older stuff a bit more tho... Some how I feel like its the REAL nevermore. THEY FUCKING RULE!
