NICE! I can't wait for this cd personally, I'm hoping maybe they'll pull it together and make this cd better than their last. I'm a huge fan and was hoping when Sonny Mayo joined he would be able to add to the sound but their last cd wasn't as good as the ones previous IMHO. This sounds more like their older stuff! Sweet!

I've been a huge fan of Sevendust since 1997. I have all of their albums except "Next." I didn't buy "Next" because I really didn't like how their sound changed when Sonny Mayo joined. This new track sounds pretty good. I don't think it sounds nearly as good as any songs off of: Sevendust, Home, or Animosity, but it's better than some tracks on Seasons and better than any of the songs on Next (in my opinion).

I might have to check out this new album.

That's also why i felt it was not so bad: it's way better than any songs off the 2 last albums.
Maybe that'll be a strong return.

once clint left left the band the good songwriting left. next was horrible. it was just riffs with no real substance. clint was the heart and soul of that band. and i think the rest of the 7dust guys are just ignorant if they think they can put out better work without clint. all the great tunes that band produced were mostly form his mind. sonny who???

I like that song, I basically like that band, and I like old Sevendust.

But I think they're essentially irrelevant anymore - SD, DND, all of 'em. Nu-metal holdouts. Radio metal is dead and gone (the radio still plays fucking Staind for crying out loud). The internet is the home of metal now, and bands make it on word-of-mouth and live shows. Musicians are so much more technical and accomplished than these has-beens, sorry to say, or at least, their music is.

Wow, I think I may actually end up neg repped or flamed for this post, after all these years, since I never say things like this.

I like the bands, I really do, but I just was thinking while watching that DND vid (and thinking how they looked so nu-metally) that things have changed, and music has moved on.
