Larry Coryell tends to get ignored by the guitar world these days, but he was doing the jazz/rock thing about the same time as John McLaughlin began experimenting with it, and was apparently the catalyst for Al DiMeola deciding fusion would be his vocation.

I've heard of this lineup but have never seen or heard any of the stuff they've done together. I personally think this song needs more distortion, plus billy cobham. But holy shit, look at paco go!!
