Picked up their 'Mort' album today; wierd black metal played almost exclusively on touch guitar and fretless guitar. There are virtually no tunes or discernible songs, but it's wierdly soothing to listen to. Recommend it, especially to those who are into classical composers like Pendrecki.

Most of the guitar playing on that album I mentioned is more textural than riff based; there are a lot of microtones and long glissandos, and the tone is much softer (for want of a better word) than your typical black metal guitar sound; it's almost violin-like.
Like I said...it's very Pendrecki-ish...if you don't know his stuff, think 'The Shining's soundtrack.

LTD seven string.
Jackson six string
Yamaha drop 6 guitar (tuned to C)
Strat-copy, with the frets ripped out and neck refinished
Dean 335-style guitar
Gibson LP standard
Peavey 5-string bass
Yamaha steel-string acoustic
Tacoma 12-string acoustic
Classical guitar (unsure of make)

Feline 7 (like a UV777BK, but still unfinished grr)
Ash Jem 7 string body (waiting to be turned into a guitar)
Did have a RG470 but I sold that as the 1570's a replacement
No-name mini acoustic travel guitar thing - just something to take on holiday, cheap/cheerful.

Bump because I've heard lots more and I'm in <3. Some of this stuff makes my skin crawl, and I <3 the use of fretless + dissonance.

Listening to some tracks off their/his newest release Odinist, a bit more structured but still prime BAN. I'm going to listen to this in the dark, loudly.
