My favorite album is "Home" (their second album). In my opinion, "Home" is by far their best. Here's one of the songs from that album that they made a video for: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oJGc8W38IUU
My favorite song from "Home" is "Headtrip," but there is no music video for that. (There were two other music videos off of "Home" if you want to look for them. One for "Waffle" and one for "Licking Cream")

Coming in close second for me would be their debut album, "Sevendust." After getting both "Home" and their debut, I would next recommend "Animosity." I've also got "Seasons," but my feeling toward that are wishy washy. Their retrospect DVD is really good too, but I wouldn't recommend getting that unless you own at least 2 of their albums.

Well, I think those acoustic things are good, but that's not how they normally are. For that one concert (tour?), they took all their heavy songs and played them acoustically. I think it sounds great, but I think the coolest thing about Sevendust is their super heavy groove that they have going on and that doesn't convert to acoustic. The songs still sound great acoustic, but I prefer the original versions and I'd recommend the original poster listen to the original songs before hearing the acoustic versions.

Yep. that's what I was trying to say. they are great band and they can sound heavy with their characteristic groove both acoustic and normal

I agree with Naren. "Home" is a great album. Probably one of my all time favorite albums from that era of music.

I agree with that. "Sevendust," "Home," and "Animosity" are all amazing albums. "Seasons" has some cool songs on it, but they lost a lot of their heaviness on that record and the songs just aren't as good. "Next" (the only Sevendust album I don't own) just doesn't do much for me. I thought Clint Lowery was an essential part of Sevendust's sound and when he left, they lost a lot of that sound and I just don't like what I've heard off of "Next."

Definitely try out their first three albums (and if you like those first three, try out "Seasons" and their acoustic album).
