Seriously though, I really dug the Cube 30 I tried. Sure it paled comapred to the F-30 and Mark-IV I was playing immediately before, but it was also like a fifth of the price. ![]() "...and everything under the sun is in tune, but the sun is eclipsed by the moon."

![]() | is that lesson any good actually? I come from a jazz background and so I'm not very experienced in shredding, so I wouldn't know if that's a particularly good one for speed/technique building. Any thoughts? I always wanted to learn some Paganini :P |

As well as Paganini, try some of the Bach violin sonatas, as they sit really well on the guitar, and if you come from a jazz background, they should be pretty accesible to you already, as they have a lot in common with bebop licks.

![]() | my teacher was trying to force me to learn this at some point. I did manage to get a couple of sheets down, but I think I forgot everything by now http://www.mutopiaproject.org/ftp/Ba...vention-02.mid Not sure if it's for violin. Also, what's the deal with distortion being so much harder to use when playing that stuff than with just clean + some delay (to make it prettier :P ) ?? I did notice this fact myself today while practicing that Paganini thing, but I don't have an explanation. |
