Summer Slaughter 2012 ticket prices

Is anyone else ....ing appalled by the price of the summer slaughter 2012 tickets? I'm seeing tickets for 67$.... considering all the summer slaughters i went to cost me like 25-30 bucks thats outrageous. I am just seeing a bunch of bunk websites telling me fake numbers or is that the actual price?

the most expensive one ive seen on ticketmaster is around 40 bucks with the fees added and I think they are cheaper if you buy them at the venue's box office. Im not a fan of ticketmasters BS fees but they are the only ones I would trust when buying tickets online them or the company that organized the tour if they happen to be selling them directly to the customers.

My VIP ticket cost $38. I think it's through ticketmaster, though some shows might be sold out.

They're 27 for regular ticket here, 32 for 'VIP' which is simply access to the balcony at our venue. Like someone else said, if your venue sold out (which I would assume is unlikely, though maybe it's just Wisconsin that never even near sells out shows) you'd end up buying tickets off scalpers and the such, which could get pricey. I had to do it for Kanye West tickets at Summerfest last year and what I paid was so vastly higher than what they were originally (though I have no regrets, other than not buying them earlier simply through the site).

My 60+ minute progressive metal(core?) solo album! -^

tough break man. last year tickets to soundwave (a one day metal festival) were $170+

...Each guitarist has an evil fat 40 year old blueswankler trying to get out, If you give in to temptation you'll be sitting next to a fender playing john lee hooker while trying to keep your combover in place.

67 dollars to see all those awesome bands? Seems pretty fair to me.

This.

I paid nearly $200 for a few big acts, add traveling on to that from Tasmania.

I must have been seeing some hoax websites or something because the tickets are $27 on ticketswest for the portland show. Its not that i dont think seeing all those bands is worth 67 dollars, i just have the money to pay that much, nor do i want to endorse a festival deciding they are so super cool that they can double or nearly triple the price of their show from one year to the next.
