Periphery sucks IMO. Radio head is not the best band in the world.

Heres a few that I have.

I don't like The Beatles, or Pink Floyd...sorry. I don't like any of the Ozzy solo albums. I liked David Lee Roth..and Sammy Hagar,(but not solo or Montrose) in VH. Dio, not my thing either.

I don't like Vai, Satriani, Yngwie, or most other guitar "soloists" from the 80's.

I don't think wood affects tone as much as almost anything else. (But it sure does look pretty.)

That will do for now

I have the Burn album (and Stormbringer, and Come Taste the Band -they are all good), and have listened to them a lot over the years. Besides, Hughes has sang that part the same way in every subsequent live version, not just the California Jam. There's a new DVD out of Purple's last tour in Japan before the breakup, which I highly recommend for historical value and Jon Lord / Glenn Hughes interview segments.

I love a good bit of Deathcore.

Related to the above, I call deathcore death metal because I think subgenres are pointless. If you show someone who has never heard heavy metal a song from Suicide Silence and a song from Cannibal Corpse and ask them which one is death metal and which one is deathcore they will look at you like you are dumb. I've done it before. I know.

I absolutely loathe EMG's. I think they ruined my tone.

I'd much rather listen to Taylor Swift than AAL, BOO, Periphery, Meshuggah, Dream Theater, etc, etc, etc.

I don't like Led Zepplin or the Beatles. I refuse to believe they had any influence on anything I listen to or any of the techniques I use when writing.

That's about it.

People should respect others taste. Subjectivity and having a strong opinion is one thing, being a tool is another. (Seems to be pretty unpopular, given the fact that everyone on the internet is correct all the time!)

Metal/Hardcore/*insert underground music here* is sick, but the fans not so much. Lots of metal fans around here are kinda dicks. That and they talk about music in the same way somebody waves their member in your face.

Never been a fan on the Beatles, I really can't see for the life of me what the fuss is.

Sex Pistols, please skip or just delete.

I really like Abba, sober of drunk I wil still belt them songs out at the top of my lungs.

In Flames are a cracking band, new and old stuff, not to mention really awsome dudes as well. Just be carefull of Leinad on naked Weds.

If Core is in the title I tend to not even bother, unless it's old school hardcore then I may give it a spin.

Drean Theatre again not sure on the hype, same as most shredders, you sure know how to play, but sorry I feel asleep before you showed me your sweeping an 8 finger tapping middle section of your solo.

I think that covers it for a Mon morning.

I dislike Paul gilbert and all virtuoso guitarists, except for satch.
I enjoy deathcore slightly more than death metal.
I prefer active pups.

real Hardcore, punk, anything of that nature always supposedly has the most "soul" and heart in there music.

I dont believe it has any soul. monotone screaming, Boring instruments, and boring lyrics about being straight edge or believing in yourself gets old after about 30 seconds.

a bunch of kids terribly playing breakdowns on out of tune guitars and with no bassist. Playing a drum set with only pawnshop a bass drum, walmart snare, and a 50$ china, while the screamer does inhales, sounds about the same to me musically.

Although I do like the production of some hardcore bands.
