There's a difference between rap and a girl just talking as fast as some girls can. (when my daughter gets together with her girlfriends they talk and giggle even faster. so fast that the boys have no idea what they're talking about).

For all the non brits that use this website, in the UK an artist called Ed Sheeran made all this acoustic with rap 'influences' popular and now it is all over the talent/music shows. Not my cup of tea but can see why it would be pretty popular. Just get her to go on the next series of X factor/BGT or whatever is next up.

Thank you for clearing that up. I had heard the name Ed Sheeran thrown around a bit, but I was never motivated enough to look up what he actually does.

Well it's more varied than that. This was his first 'big' single which is pretty middle of the road singer/songwriter stuff.

The album that made Plan B famous here was more of a soul album though so I think most people associate him with that.(The Defamation of Strickland Banks). She Said is still all over TV shows and adverts and it was released 2 years ago!

I ....ing hate Plan B dude, guy is an arrogant dick. Sure he can sing but he's so up himself it's unreal.

I actually think this girl is talented though. It's not exceptional, but it's definitely well above average. She has the makings of a celebrity that I wouldn't have a problem with them being famous, as opposed to all the talentless dickheads she's singing about in this song.

For those that didn't quite get it, this isn't a serious song. She's making fun of talentless rappers!

I realize she's from the UK, but a little enunciation wouldn't kill her...

For example, in the chorus, I thought she was saying G D'oh A D'oh Y... when it was meant to be DOT.

Just some constructive criticism if you feel like passing it on.. Other than that, the lyrics are clever.
