Interesting Death Metal bands?
Hey guys! I've been needing something new to listen to. I'm getting worn out of the same Cannibal Corpse, Bloodbath, Death, Nile, etc. And while they're great ....ing bands, they're the only few bands on my Zune
.So what are some other awesome bands out there that are brutal as ....? And by good, I mean good recording quality. Anything else is a matter of opinion and can not be defined as "good". And more than just brutal too! I also love technical and melodic. All in all; I just want to hear some Death Metal that will really keep my attention. Whether it includes classical, opera, ANYTHING!!! Post anything interesting! Anything at all! Except for Rings of Saturn. . . . Not to my liking to say the least. Here is a refrence of something that I find really interesting to listen to that really holds my attention: (check these guys out if you haven't!) Black Brutal (so long as it's brutal but still interesting) Classical Opera International ANYTHING! Thanks a ton dudes!!! Music lovers show eachother bands. Guitarists show eachother tones. Dying Fetus? Brutal, interesting, sort of melodic. I'm not sure if they have any good recordings (I would find out fight now but I'm posting from the phone) but you should really checkout Heavy Lies The Crown. Great un signed band from Indianapolis
Edit: Can't seem to find a facebook for Heavy Lies The Crown, but I know they are still playing shows since i just saw them a few weeks ago. Here is a link to thier myspace with several of thier tunes http://www.myspace.com/heavyliesthe....ingcrown "At least Deathcore was heavy as shit when done right, this new stuff sounds like if meshuggah and taking back sunday had a homosexual he/she creature when bred together." -- Some dude on youtube |

Spawn of possession is everything that is right about death metal to me. Check them out.
All the Cryptopsy albums except for the last one are in the same boat. Just awesome. |

The vid you posted to open the thread made me think you might dig the later Emperor material, (or Ihsahn's solo albums), or maybe even Dimmu Borgir.

This thread... is beautiful. I'll add a couple other bands.
Ever heard Transcending Bizarre? ? I've been listening to these guys a lot lately: You might like Septic Flesh... not too technical or brutal... but pretty damn good. Deathspell Omega is always on any playlist of mine. This is one of my favorites from Gorod. Is this... guitar?
