Brilliant use of a 9 string bass guitar

Love this band, and there bass player is amazing. Saw them live years ago, amazing show. He jumped into the crowd and was doing all this crazy slap stuff while running around with the fans.

On the topic of brilliant use of 9 string:

Concealment. Amazing band from Portugal that is somehow still under the radar. 9 string bass + 8 string guitar. To be honest, hearing that nowadays would usually make me steer clear, but these guys know how to use extended range instruments extremely well. They play with dissonance really well and make atonality amazingly catchy with insane groove. Oh yeah and the drumming is tasty as hell!

Unexpect is one of the bands I saw the more often live (even had the chance to share the stage with them once) and they are probably one of the best metal band to ever come out of Quebec's province (along with Gorguts, Quo Vadis and Augury). Simply the most underrated band of the list in my opinion. Every musician in this band is brilliant, as for the writting and playing part. Their previous album is still my favorite, but I will never tell how much this band impress me

And the first time I saw that bass in my face, I didn't knew how to react lol
