The Korea... The Russian Vildhjarta?

I'm on the fence about this band, some neat elements but I do hear alot of Vildhjarta and Periphery influences. At what point does a band sound too much like another?

I do like their music video with a flying pyramid. Although the slight crabcore singer's moves do make me chuckle abit. The effect/lighting on him looks pretty cool.

Is there a ....ing factory somewhere churning this shit out? I think it's about time we found it and burnt it to the ground.

I'm sorry, but there was absolutely nothing original or inspiring about this material. I hereby christen this genre 'djenericore'.

Im not going to lie. I thought that was horrible. I am definitely not one of those ".... djent" kind of guys either, because I actually like a lot of so called "djent" bands. That however was just plain boring, and repetitive. I also hate to play this card, but just look at them. I think we can all agree that wearing white rimmed sunglasses indoors is a pretty douchebag thing to do.

My main setup:
Ibanez uv7bk green dot, Engl fireball 60, genz benz g flex 2x12.

Holy shit I need some Chimp Spanner quickly to stop my ears from bleeding. This is the kind of band that djents just for the sake of it and it doesn´t make the music any better, rather worse.

At first I kinda liked the 2nd song, but then it got into the long sequence of "open, mute, mute, open, open, mute, highbendonlowstring, mute, open" djeneric-ness and it lost me

But admit it, you'd all like it a smidgen better if the singer didn't look Attack Attack-ish

Don't ever use Vildhjarta's name in vain!

In Seriousness...this sounds nothing like either of the bands you mentioned..It's deathcore, the bad kind.

After hearingthe 2nd song, I really can't see where the similarities are at all...whatchu smokin'? I want some.

I'm on a rock floating through space.

I wouldn't mind all this djent stuff if some of the bands would get respectable vocalists. I've yet to hear a single of these bands I could sit through an entire album of, because they can't seem to anything other than angst, screaming 18 y/os. The fans who call it "progressive metal" are also absolutely laughable.

At what point does one stop giving .... how much one band sounds like another and just listen to what they like?

By the way, this just sounds like the same breakdown-core shit every 15 year old with a 7 string is playing...

That chaos theory song is probably better than 95% of current djent/deathcore bands. Not sayin a whole lot really, as we all know most are uninspired 3rd rate garbage. Try listening w/out watching that extremely lame music video, it helps. Thats what i did.
