You've got your head down
You've got your eyes closed
You look so pitiful now

Your body encrusted with ash
Breath heavy with toxins
Hair singed and matted
Clothes frayed and burnt

You are left with nothing

I have one in my 2027, I love it. I got it because I knew next to nothing about floyd rose guitars. I only played fixed bridge. This made the transition so much easier.

I had a few problems with the installation, mainly due to the fact that my spring configuration was two spring to the left and two to the right. The tremolo had to sit in place of one of the springs and because it’s a seven string and the extra tension, removing that spring I had to redo the position of the claw quite a bit and that messed up my action.
So I took it in to a store to get set up, after that it played amazing.

Yes. Absolutely.

For the minimal cost (in the grand scheme of things) i think it's a great addition to any fulcrum-trem guitar. It makes tuning and setups much easier, and when you have it locked down, sustain and tone are greatly improved, in my opinion.

This space intentionally left blank.

Nik will become famous soon enough
Well, it depends. If you're a lucky, rich, and have your own stage tech that'll set-up your guitars, you can live all day with your floating trem guitars and have him change tunings and whatnot for you.

And if you're one of the 99% of other musicians who aren't as fortunate, the added flexibility sounds great. I know I'll be getting one soon

+2

I have a radical idea. The door swings both ways,
we could reverse the particle flow through the gate.
We'll cross the streams.

Who knows, Rummy - for me, it's more than worth the purchase price. Initially I wanted one for compound bends, but having used a prototype for about a year and a half and then a production unit from as soon as they hit the market, these days it's just the ability to retune without spending hours re-setting up your guitar, to lock it down and do some fine-tuning while jamming with people, or just to be able to lock it down and really dig in while playing bluesier stuff.... It may seem subtle, but it adds SO much flexibility to your floyd-equipped guitars.
