Bill & Ted 3 Will Explore The Currently Bogus State Of Rock & Roll | Giant Freakin Robot

Last week we found out that there’s a script for a third excellent adventure for Bill & Ted, and what’s more, it’s finished. Both Alex Winter (Bill S. Preston, Esquire) and Keanu Reeves (Ted Theodore Logan) are on board to reprise their idiot rock god characters. But what will Bill & Ted 3 be about? Alex Winter has answers. Winter says the script explores what has happened with Rock and Roll in the last twenty years while Bill & Ted have been gone. He explains…

What’s happened to rock and roll in the last 20 years? The movie’s going to get in and play with some of that stuff. Where is rock? Where are we? What’s happened to the whole idea of saving the world — or what hasn’t happened? There’s a lot to play with there.

No waaaay! This is most excellent!

I'm pretty excited about this, it's really cool and very surprising that they're bringing those characters back, but I think there's a high risk of failure and it could very easily end up being terrible lol. Hopefully I'm wrong though. It might be a little difficult for them to pull off those characters at their current ages though.

Too bad their won't be any Rufus.

Hell yeah.

Silly point but I though Bill and Ted movies concentrated more on "rock" music and Waynes World was more "Rock and Roll" music.

Basically the fanboy in me is hoping for a glimmer of Metal and Shred to be included. No more Aerosmith..etc.. and dont make the Foo Fighters the "hero band".

Nah, Jim needs to be demoted since he's a grade A asshole IRL.
May be anecdotal evidence but at FNM gigs I was at years and years ago he basically shit on fans, insulted people, refused to sign stuff unless they bought merchandise from him, then went on to charge people for autographs.
