you could care less? dude. success in the music buisness doesnt come easy. unless you've got a nice set of tits and a sweet ass. they have their rightful place. if your so much better why are you here bitching about them while they are out there making the big bucks?

If I have to take things with a grain of salt, so do you buddy, I could care less about the money and the fame, thats what it always comes to, money right? They don't derserve their "rightful" place, and since their a trend, theyll get booted off for the next big just add water instant band

All I can say is look at Rusty Cooley, he has better song writing skill, better technical skills, and lets just better skills overall in every aspect compared to DF, he doesent make the big bucks, but he should. If fame and popularity were judged by talent, christ, I hate to see where DF and most bands today would end up

who cares if your from canada. what relavence does rusty have to this? try and stay with me here. besides rusty may be a million times faster but his music lacks emotion and shape. often it just sounds like hes running up and down scales all day. he leaves no room for melody. if your saying you dont care about money and fame your full of shit. cause at the end of the day thats what makes the world go around. and i as i said fame and money isnt based on talent. all you have to do is have a nice set of tits and a sweet ass. or just jump on the a trendy bandwagon.

They've played the same song for the past few years. They just change the title of it every now and then. Their guitar solos sound way too processed, like a f*cking computer game (lame) and their singer is hopelessly out of tune live. I#d rather listen to Angra.

As far as i know, no one is tone deaf for not hearing emotions in the 312361 notes that Cooley plays per second. And if he'd be that great (besides being known only by guitar players) he would have sold milions albums by now.
And as far as Dragon....inforce goes, what trendwagon are they on exactly? What's your expertise about musical trends?

Trust most of the people on this thread think like I do when it comes to DF, they just arent posting as much as I am, so it makes me look like a lone fighter here, and the only one who thinks this way, if you gave me neg e-rep youd have to give to 98% of the other people of this thread

I agree that some fast player can achieve emotions with their playing.
The thing is, for people in general (beside guitar players) fast playing doesn't get any point across beside technical abilities.

I'm glad that "shred is back" + solos after that "no-solo-dark-ages-nu-metal era", even if i like some music from this trend.
IMO, playing very fast is a thing from the 80's that i grew up with (Malmsteen, Vai + their hundred of clowns...oups i meant clones. It was incredibly new at that time) so i think its now a bit outdated IMHO. I think musicians can show their talent / huge skills / emotions some other way by now other than playin' 43234 notes / minutes (and maybe that's J. Becker case) 'cause a LOT of guitar players can play by like that today. It's just more guitar players that sounds the same. I know Rusty is a god-like guitarist, but i have still to hear a song that sends shivers down my spine.
Maybe the new Outworld will do it...
