Djentless metal fusion - Updated! New tune for your perusal! 15/8 ftw!

A tune that I think I've pretty much completed. Will wonders ever cease?
Have a listen and if the mix ain't to your liking please let me know.
Thanks for listening!

Loving it Feels quite natural in 13/8 too 13/16 next

But yea, really good. Good music, good playing, and nice to hear shred/fusion stuff that doesn't have distortion/gain on 11

(+the intro riff is brilliant )

that's actually one out of 9 tunes I'm hoping to get out on disk. I'm in the last stages of mixing everything now so I figured I'd get some opinions on production 'n stuff. thanks for checking it out!

glad you liked it. I'm fascinated by odd meter. It does make my head hurt but its a lot of fun to play around with.

Very nice indeed! Old school prog fan, I take it? The intro is very Rush. Take that as a compliment! Update this thread with other stuff when it's done?

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!

The only thing I don't like is the sound of the snare. It has for my taste a little to much attack

Yep, I grew up on a lot of Yes, Jethro Tull and Rush. And thanks for the compliment on the intro! I'll update this thread with other stuff as it gets done. thanks for the listen!

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it. I agree as far as the snare. Its seems like on the softer parts its really up front but when the tune kicks in it sounds ok. Its a tricky balance to make it audible with all the other stuff going on but not too prevalent when the other instruments are pretty sparse. Still kind of a work in progress.
