A guitar solo

I was writing a tune, but it diddnt go anywhere, so i thought instead of leaving it as a file deep in the depths of my computer never to been seen again, I should make it into a short solo etude kind of thing. enjoy

This x1000. Very tasteful and reminds me of a Govan song (can't remember which off the top of my head.)

It's always nice to see a guitar player with a firm grasp of vibrato and controlling bends. Very well done.

By the way, are you the same Sam Bell that has a project thing going with Olly Steele?

Wish you were in Australia, I'd love to collaborate with you :/

EDIT: what happened to your strap pins?

Thanks dude, very kind words

I am on skype often, so anyone can add up if you want to jam and swap some licks and thing! (samuelbell2)

The strap pin on the "horn" is on the back so when standing up the guitar comes "out" more so when playing in higher registers its a little easer to get your thumb behind the neck. Not sure if its proven to help, but I certainly feel more comfortable with it like this. Only problem is when playing live/with a heavy guitar the strap pin is a little weaker, I stick some solid solder wire in there before screwing in the pin to keep it a little firmer.

An alternative to solder wire is to use a match, push the match in (the head poking out of the guitar) then snap it off so that it's flush with the body, I've done that trick whenever I've noticed a guitar with a wobbly or lose strap pin. Works great for me.

As for skype, I've never used it to be honest, is it fast enough to jam together on without lag etc?
