Tool - 10000 days
The Devin Townsend Band - Synchestra
Amorphis - Eclipse

Hmm, I haven't got so many albums that came out this year.

I should probably get Amon Amarth's "With Odin on Our Side".

Edit: forgot one.

Now I lay me down to sleep
Blah, blah, blah my soul to keep
If I die before I wake
I'll go to hell for heaven's sake

Meh, I make exceptions, like for some reason I love Unearth and am really getting into Opeth... I just typically have problems getting into that style of vocals

And I may have to get the Daylight Dies album, as despite the vocals annoying the hell out of me the music sounds fantastic.

I didn't buy many albums this year but mine would be Through the Eyes of the Dead/Bloodlust.

7StringofAblicK-This is my footswitch. it changes channels on my amp - just like on a television, but I only have four channels.

Agalloch - Ashes Against The Grain
Easily my favorite album of the year. Not Unlike The Waves is such a bad ass track. I love the leads; nothing too flashy but still striking.

Mastodon - Blood Mountain
Lamb of God - Sacrament
Mogwai - Mr.Beast
Tool - 10,000 Days
The Mars Volta - Amputechture

For me, that was the most dissapointing album of 2006. I'd call it "Popcore"
