That was cool. Paul Rogers was a nice touch. I haven't heard any of the new Queen yet. (If there is any.)

Awesome! Buddy Guy is a great blues player and entertainer. I saw him live w/Eric Johnson in July 2005, he was great live and I highly recommend seeing him. This is a good tune too, I like Grand Funk Railroad and he did this tune nice, cool vid.

Buddy Guy is phenomenal, but this doesn't really show him off to good effect. Personally, I enjoy his "Heavy Love" album from a few years back, which had a stronger funk element to it.

Yeah, I kind of agree. My favorite solo he ever did was on the SRV tribute. He sustains this dissonant note for about for about a year and then resolves it. Very cool effect. I think the rest of the guys there were kind of shocked by it. I had something I recorded of him playing in Chicago. That was pretty cool. He's a really good performer and he tells a great story.

I've seen Buddy live a couple of times--electric on the tour for "Heavy Love" and acoustic this year at the Bonnaroo Festival (he also played an electric set at Bonnaroo, but I missed it). Both shows were kickass, but that acoustic set was something else. He was so 'into it' that I thought he was gonna break a string, the guitar, or both.
