-42-, I hope you stub your ....ing big toe

On topic:

Combichrist, Aphex Twin, Venetian Snares.

No explanation needed, which is what makes them great.

Liberty has always come from the subjects of it.

Amon Tobin. Fell in love with his music when a friend introduced me to this video

Full tunes

Exquisite sampling technique, ineffable soundscapes and the fullness of his sound makes his music amazing. Actually, Amon Tobin sparked my interest in electronic music.

Shpongle. Because I enjoy mysterious earthen-like psychedelic music. Music of huge space, feels like there's an entire separate world in each tune. Very innovative and unorthodox. Best music to trip to, in my opinion (don't hate me for my fondness for psychedelic substances ). ALSO, they use acoustic instruments as well - no sampled instruments are used, real world bansuri flutes, shakuhachi's, hangs, cellos etc. The best of psybient/psychill.

Wish I could link all their songs :/

Four Tet. Don't know what to say. Quite experimental electronic project. Experimental, yet simple. Lots of his music embodies California for me, no idea why. But riding with mountains to your right and the sea to your immediate left with Four Tet - magical.

The whole image is that eternal suffering awaits anyone who questions God's infinite love. That's the message we're brought up with, isn't it? Believe or die! Thank you, forgiving Lord, for all those options.

With Panzer AG and Combichrist mentioned, I'm surprised no one brought up Andy's other band, Icon of Coil.

They're pretty good, too.

^ I mentioned them in passing, but didn't post anything because it was massively uninspired music IMO... Panzer was where he really hit his stride with the awesome, and even Combichrist has dropped off a bit in quality (again, IMO).

Anything that Daemoniac has posted, I probably (more like definitely) drool over, as well.

I'm also going to add:

Nachtmahr

The Crystal Method

I'll think of more when I'm done being lazy and look through my ipod at the different bands and genres on there.

Boards of Canada - Awesome chill music. I love the atmosphere they create with their songs.

Many others have already mentioned Aphex Twin, Venetian Snares, Squarepusher, etc. so I won't bore you all with more about them.

I'm not sure what I did about it, just so uplifting and creative yet not being grindy enough to hurt the ears.
