After seeing THIS in one of Vince's threads, I decided to dig into my girlfriend's CD collection and listen to Throwdown's album, Haymaker. I'm a fan of hardcore, but good god....this has to be the most generic hardcore I've ever heard. Talk about booooooooring music! They really do need to make a 1-string, 1-fretted guitar for schmoes like this.

The only thing I've ever heard by them is their cover of "I Like Big Butts". That fucking rules for insane mosh pits in clubs. First time I heard it I wondered WTF was going on as it starts exactly the same as the original, but then the guitars kicked in an the place went insane.

Agreed, I liked that track for the novelty value and everything else I've heard is pretty generic.

That's not very fair, since you need two strings to form a power chord.
