New Haken album "Visions" coming October 2011

Judging from the quality of Nocturnal Conspiracy and Insomnia, which were played live at Night of the Prog in July, this should be really, really good:

1. Premonition - 4:10
2. Nocturnal Conspiracy - 13:08
3. Insomnia - 6:06
4. The Mind's Eye - 4:05
5. Portals - 5:27
6. Shapeshifter - 8:08
7. Deathless - 8:04
8. Visions - 22:25

The US release has been announced for October 25. If you want it earlier, you'll have to attend one of Haken's September live gigs, either at ProgPower USA in Atlanta or at the Generation Prog Festival in Nürnberg, Germany.

Oh yeah: In addition to the 22 minute title track, songs no. 4, 5 and 6 are connected, creating a ~18 minute suite.

"Freedom in the 21st Century means being incommunicado."

Awesome! I really liked them live, and the first album is excellent.

Can't wait for this. I play Aquarius pretty much none stop. Haken are speedly becomeing my faverate band.

I just wish they would release a Tab book. some of the shit on Aquarius is just way to complex for me to figure out.

cant wait for this. they claim that this release will be superior to Aquarius in every way, which is a monster of a statement.
but hey, its Haken! cant expect much less from what theyve already done.

Aquarius was damn good, and I really look forward to hear Visions, the length of the tracks makes me wet.

Btw, since it seems to have been overlooked a bit when I posted it originally, here's a lengthy interview with Hen and Tom from Haken that I conducted a month ago:
My joint Haken/To-Mera interview from Night of the Prog

Haken have released over six minutes of samples from the upcoming album today, sounds very promising!

I'm just dying to get my hands on this album... But the wait is just so damn long! It feels like time is actually slowing down as I'm waiting for the release date.

The sampler sounds awesome.

Haken, release this album already! I want it now!!

As you wrote before, you need to go to Germany in September.
