I'll also agree with the fact that he's an awesome player. His cd is definitely one of my all-time favourite albums, and he's really approachable on his forum. He's got another cd or 2 on the not-too-distant horizon.

uhm... I hate to be a jackass but I just don't understand what all the fuzz is about. I bought his CD last year hoping to hear some great music and I was utterly disappointed. Phrasing is not bad at all but songwriting sux, tone sux, chops are mediocre... I'm not exactly crazy about this guy

Anyway that just my 2 cents.

To each his own. I don't think his chops suck, he's a very tasteful player, an instrumental guitarist that doesn't need to play a billion notes a second to get his point across.

That was a great video! Dave is a really nice guy and an awesome player who doesn't feel he has to show it all the time!

I haven't listened to his album in a while, I think I'll put in on my ipod on the way to the shop!
