Hey
I've just started listening to the Deftones a little bit and havent run into anything using the full 7 string range yet. What songs are out there that are played on a 7.

Deathblow, Bloody Cape, Battle Axe, pretty much everything on the 4th album. He tunes real low though, G#

Anything else he tunes more like A,Bb,B on?

I think Around the Fur is a song that he plays with his SC607B. I tried it on my jackson tuned to low A and it sounds fine. He might have gone to G# as he has a baritone.

When I saw him live this song was like 4th or 5th on the set list but it was encored and he switched guitars. He went from his 6 string to his 7 string (baritone Im assuming). Needless to say the second time over, it sounded definitely heavier and truer to the deftones.

Around The Fur: C#-F#-B-E-G#-C#
White Pony: C-G-C-F-A-D
Deftones: G#-C#-F#-B-E-G#-C# (hence why ATF stuff can be played on his 7)
