Apparently Pig Destroyer have a new drummer (?!?)

So, I don't know how many Pig Destroyer fans populate this forum, but I like them enough to post this latest bit of news:
PIG DESTROYER Announce A New Drummer | .... Yes! | Metal Injection
It comes as a surprise mainly because it's been four years since their last studio album, and there was never a statement about Brian Harvey (previous drummer) leaving. But the dude from Misery Index is on board, so that can't be a bad thing.

Nice! I read an Interview about Scot. He's been busy with his job and son, so that's why PD has been sort of quiet lately.

Yeah... I think Scott Hull works full time as an IT guy for some pretty secretive branch of the goverment.

Yep. The man knows what sites you go on, what people you talk to, what porn you watch, etc. It's pretty cool how much of a cult following PxDx have considering how part time they are.
Heres hoping a new album is in the works.

PD prove that quality over quantity is still important in some circles. Everything the put out is meticulous and brilliant and since they play only a handful of shows a year they can ask for a good amount of money from festivals and sell out every venue they play because the demand is there.

A guy I know brought this up at the pub last night, he was saying that the new guy must be worse cause he uses triggers

Needless to say I pwned him.

Anywho, I dig Pig Destroyer and I honestly had no clue the other drummer left the band. Adam is more than talented enough to fill the position so I'm sure any new Pig Destroyer material will be just as savage as before, which makes me happy in my pants.

I was completely bummed when I heard this. Brian had been in the band since the beginning and had the perfect style of drumming for the band. I listened to some of Adam's drumming and it just didn't feel right for Pig Destroyer. Oh well, I'm still stoked for a new album, nevertheless!

I absolutely love Brian's style, so there's going to be very high expectations for Adam. That said, I just can't wait for the new album.
