For the X2N, it doesn't matter if it's f spaced or not because it doesn't use poles, it uses a bar.

^^spaceing between pole pieces...

F - fender and Floyd ...they both used a wider string spacing (compared to gibson) and that was the name that stuck for it


(you can use f spaced pu's on non- f spaced guitars but it isnt recomended the other way around)
