Also yeah, I haven't really thought about seeing a tree used as one :P They're setting the bar so high now, soon music made by regular instruments won't suffice anymore!

I've not just wanted to see/hear it, I've acted on the impulse.

Look up "aeolian harp." Cotton chord attached to the ends of stretched fishing line, with closed empty 2-liter bottles as bridge saddle resonators, all high up in the trees of the park near where I used to live.

I didn't want something which would be a permanent install, so I figure the cotton would eventually break at some point and the whole thing would come down. I couldn't get the installations to resonate at specific pitches, because I couldn't get the lengths to a specific tension, but on winter nights, there was quite a low moaning/howling....

Diego Stocco is awesome!

He's a master ....ing sound designer. Some of the wavetable content that he created for Specrasonics Omisphere is positively brilliant. Water poured though pipes, mallets on light bulbs, and, of course, the infamous burning piano (no "quotes" necessary, they actually set a piano on ....ing fire, played it, and sampled it).

Lulz dont use too thick leafs or else you'll have inharmonicity and you'll make the lower muddy frequencies from teh roots and get overleaf error.Better make a custom multibranch to get the djentree tightnez
