What bands would you pay $100 to see?

Hey, this came up in another thread, http://www.sevenstring.org/forum/new...ote=1&p=260803 and I was wondering, what bands would you pay $100 or more to see? Here are the rules:

The band must exist currently, and you can only see it in their current form. You can say a band where all/most of the members are still alive, but are not together (e.g., Pink Floyd). No historical bands (e.g. Roth-era Van Halen). Basically, if the band was to go on tour tomorrow, would you pay $100 to see them in their current form?

No opening act.

I could only think of two:

1. Tool
2. Radiohead

Tool and Radiohead are in the same category to me: the best in their genre, and most likely not going to exist anymore in the near future. I'd give pretty good odds that this is Tools last go-around, and Radiohead may have another album in them, but you never know.

Anyway, what are your bands that you would see?

There's no band I would pay that much to see. I just think that's too much, and I enjoy live DVDs and CDs enough to tide me over. The only way I would is if Type O Negative played a 2-3 hour set somewhere with a great sound system. Otherwise that's just too much money of me to spend on something that I can't resell the next day on eBay

I would pay $100 to see Vito Bratta in concert, with or without White Lion. I really like his guitar playing, and he hasn't played publicly since WL split.

I remember reading somewhere that Vito Bratta got carpal tunnel or something, and hasn't really played guitar for years. I don't know if that is true or not.

No current band. They'd be a couple of "historic" bands where a member of the classic lineup has died, but they're out according to the rules. Most I've ever paid to see a current band was £40.

As an aside the last time Madonna performed here the media kicked up a storm as tickets were up to £300 each. That's massivly over priced for anyone and totally taking the fans to the cleaners.

Symphony X. Even if they come to britain they'd only play london and that would be a long, expensive trek!

was it worth it? shit yeah!

I have a radical idea. The door swings both ways,
we could reverse the particle flow through the gate.
We'll cross the streams.
