How do you listen to music?
How do you listen to music? MP3 player, iPhone, radio, internet, vinyl?
If the 50’s and 60's were the era of the record, in the 70's we had tape, (lovely 8-tracks and cassettes!), and the Sony Walkman, then CD's in the 80’s and now MP3's. This Day in Music is running a poll to find out how you listen to your music. www.thisdayinmusic.com "I gave up drugs when the doctor told me I had 6 months to live" Keith Richards |

iPhone, though the battery is shall we say... lacklustre.
Probably doesn't help that I browse facebook at the same time ![]() When I'm at home it's either iPhone > HiFi speakers or iTunes into my monitors... though one of them is currently broken and I've only had them a matter of months
What happened to Jeff? Funny how he dropped off the radar now that the entire Western world disagrees with his right wing bullshit. |

when I get a house I plan on getting a nice hi fi setup and a record player, and some time to enjoy it hopefully. |

At home I play from Mediamonkey --> M-Audio Monitors
When I'm not at home it's iPod through headphones. My music covers on YouTube <--Shameless self-promotion "You climb the Beanpole of Mansoor and travel across the seas of Obzen before you may understand the meaning of Djent." - Customisbetter Believe half of what you see and nothing that you hear. The only truth in hearing is music; the one constant: never changing, yet always evolving. |

At home, through my Profire and RP6s, through my Cambridge Audio separates and Gale Gold Monitor speakers, and through my Logitech iPod speaker dock.
In my car, my iPhone/iPod through the USB port on my Kenwood head unit, Infinity component speakers and Sony subwoofers. At work.. literally the shittiest, no-name radio you've ever seen Though it has an iPod dock and thus charges my phone

I usually have my music playing while playing Xbox Live, which my 360's audio cables are connected to my Yamaha 10 channel mixer, which is connected to my Sennheiser HD380's. When I'm not at home, I still listen to a portable CD player, which is connected to my HD380's. I occasionally listen to my iPod, but I only have one because I got it for Christmas 2007. I uninstalled my itunes about a year ago.
I don't listen to music while driving. My truck only has AM/FM, and the radio stations here are pure shit. |

At home, some cheap-ish 2.1 speaker set hooked up to my PC. iTunes is my player of choice.
Out and about, stock in-ear buds with a Nokia E72. Usually have a few albums' worth of listening material on there. Used to use an iPod but it's just easier to have email, contacts and music on one device. I lose the ability to have 80 gigs worth of music in my pocket, but there were tracks, albums, and entire bands on there that I hadn't listened to in years. ![]() Carpathia : progressive extreme metal from London.
