Howdy folks, I was listening to a new Unearth track online today, just to see what they're up to now as I'd lost track since the 'Stings of Conscience' stuff. Not sure what the track was called, but at the end there is a solo trade-off between the Ken & Buzz. As they kept going, one of them suddenly throws in the main riff from 'Wasted Years' by Maiden before going off again.

Now the thing is, I can't decide if it's cool or not. In one way I think 'That's a nice subtle little tribute', but then on the other hand, I can't help but think 'Stop trying to jump on the current Maiden band-wagon and come up with your own classics'.

Although my thinking on the guy from Slipknot ripping off the Angel of Death drumfill was a lot clearer

What does everyone else think?
