I was recently made aware of this band and was kinda surprised I hadn't seen them mentioned around here. for two reasons: one, they mix the polyrythym/prefix-core stuff with a modern doom sound a la Katatonia or whatever, and two, this:

Cool stuff, It's amazing how Jeff's solos at first sound like they dont fit but then WHAM it hits you and it all makes sense.

My friend Sean is in this band, who, by the way can also shred his butt off. I even took a couple theory lessons from him as well.

Jeff is just an amazing all around player.

As far as the band's music goes, the production is absolutely solid (in my opinion), but I hate the vocals (and not because they're harsh rather than clean).

I can't stand most Christiancore, and these guys are supped down-your-throat about it, as opposed to a band like As I lay Dying.

Yeah they are. Its even worse than Incubus/Opprobrium.

too core for me, personally. And while I don't mind bands having a certain religious belief, I find it obnoxious when they get particularly transparent about it.
