![]() | Greatest Cryptopsy Album There have been a few 'best album' polls recently so I thought I'd be a sheep. I'm gonna go with And Then You'll Beg. Reasoning behind this is the Lavasseur and Auburn tandem for guitar and my preference for Mike DiSalvo's vocals. Mike DiSalvo's albums are awesome, but i just prefer lord worm. My list of Crpytopsy albums: None So Vile Blasphemy Made Flesh Once Was not then the two di salvo albums and none so live.. I Think Ungentle Exhumation is just a demo.. its also the only album on that list i dont own lol Glory and praise to Thee, Satan, on high, Where Thou didst reign, in Hell where Thou dost lie, Vanquished, silent, dreaming eternally. On a side note I liked DiSalvo's vocals on Whisper Supremacy but hated them on And Then You'll Beg. Didn't sound like he put any effort into it at all but I heard he had the flu when he recorded that so he may have an excuse. I like Lord Worms's old vocals but didn't care for them too much on the new album. |

![]() | I would have to go with "None So Vile." Lord Worm was sick on that album. "Once was Not" is probably the biggest metal let down of any album for me. Lord Worms vocals went to shit and the song writing is not the same. I don't know what happened to that band. |

I feel the same way. I voted None So Vile, if for no other reason than for Phobophile. I remember listening to Once Was Not on the way back from Montreal where a friend of mine bought it, we put it on, and we listened to the album all the way through to give it a fair shot, and still, we were dissapointed. The only redeeming quality was Flo's drumming, and only in spots. When Lord Worm left, the band should have called it quits. Blasphemy Made Flesh is a close second for me. | |
