Wintersun is the best band ever... period...

Death and the Healing, is the best song ever. ....ing incredible.

I've made a post about this way back in february I think, but I felt I should just say it again, because they ....ing rock.

Yea man they ....in OWN. Definately CANNOT wait for the new album. Jari is a ....in monster. Once I heard them I got into old Ensiferum which is obviously ....IN SICK. I cant really say enough about Wintersun..lol. I just wanna see them around here, that would complete my life....

Really, I'm always on the look out for new stuff that's cool. I'm getting it now.

Edit: It's nice. Pretty cool, I'm guessing it'll have to grow on me a bit more like anything good does. I don't know about best song ever, but it is very well written and powerful. I'll give this band a few spins for sure. Catchy stuff.

they're okay.. that first album i listened to, i had a CDr from my friend and i had it my car for the longest time.. i dunno, just couldnt get into it. each song, it felt like "I've heard this before"...

yeah its definitely not unique or anything, but i think its pretty well written for what it is.

For a lot of their songs, it's like a "yeah I've heard this before," but Death and the Healing? I've never heard a song with a killer melody like that, and really low harmonic vocals combined with an instrumental section like that, ever.

if you have, please direct me to these bands because I ....ing love them.

A drummer that i know of got me into this band..

Starchild is probably my favorite song mainly because of the singing starting at 3:20.

Death and the healing has an amazing solo, one of the most memorable parts of that song.

My first impression of Wintersun was also that it seemed unoriginal. I thought it sounded like Bodom, except...you know... good. But they grew on me a lot and I really found their melodies very original and interesting. Similar to the experience I had getting into Death.

Saw them live when they opened for Amon Amarth once, I'd never seen (or heard about) them before. Got to say, I loved every second of it.

Death and the Healing, among others, is an epic song
