![]() | Guitar World's "Betcha Can't Play This" with Chris Broderick (Jag Panzer/Nevermore) Anyone see this? Yahoo videos: http://video.yahoo.com/video/play?&t...ideo.yahoo.com YouTube link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xkpZ645ztl0 From Blabbermouth: JAG PANZER/NEVERMORE Guitarist: 'Betcha Can't Play This' Clip Posted Online - July 6, 2006 Guitarist Chris Broderick (JAG PANZER, NEVERMORE) has uploaded a "five-octave arpeggio" video clip that was done for Guitar World's "Betcha Can't Play This" DVD. Check it out at this location. Chris has been playing guitar since he was eleven years old and has been teaching for the last 14 years. Styles range from classical, rock, blues, and jazz. He started taking lessons at 14 years of age studying guitar as well as voice, violin, and piano. Chris has a degree in classical guitar music performance at the University of Denver and the Lamont School of Music. He has performed in many master classes including ones given by David Russell, Benjamin Verdery, and his primary instructor, Ricardo Iznaola. In addition, Chris has taken classes such as jazz improvisation, chord voicing, advanced music theory, and sight-reading. From Chris' site: http://www.chrisbroderick.com/html/tutorials.htm Here is a 5 octave two handed tapping arpeggio riff, one of three examples that I did for Guitar Worlds “Betcha can’t play this” column. It is not going to be used because it is performed on a seven string and they wanted it to appeal to all guitarists. The other two examples will be released in the October 2006 issue of Guitar World. You can either download this example here, or watch it in the player below. |
