Nevärlläjf - Avant-garde jazz-prog-metal-fusion from Sweden!
These guys are absolutely insane, I've played a few shows with them with my old prog-band and they are perhaps the tightest and generally weirdest band I've ever seen... good guys too
They're doing pretty good now with a record out, endorsements etc. so I figured I'll do my part and promote them here! ![]() NevärlLäjF on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Downloads Some vids: |

Wow, some nice axes from Woodo guitars, their sponsor!
![]() So can you tell me, how the heck do you pronounce the band's name?? |

Cool that you guys like them!
![]() The band name can be pronounced two ways. For some reason, most of us around here who know the band pronounce it Naver (with a long "a" like in the word "stand" or "pad") - Lejf. However, the "correct" way to read it would be Nevar (with the long "a") - Lejf. The reason behind the strange name is that it's the name of a swedish jacket/backpack company spelled backwards. And if you think that's strange, their song titles mean even stranger things...

Pretty cool actually. Never heard of them before, but the first song had some good parts to it.

Weird, but interesting. But I didn't hear any metal in both songs...
