I always thought Vai did some tracks on it, turns out the whole album is all these kids. Thomas McRocklin was shredding his fucking ass off back then. The album is actually pretty damn good. There's a couple of cornball tunes/parts to it, but overall the songwriting/musicianshop is very tight.

I really wish my elementary school had a guitar class. I definately would have picked it up as apposed to the viola (which I wasted 5 years on, I never learned anything on it really).

And I'm pretty sure that first kid is the kid who plays young Vai in the "The Audience is Listening" video.

this is so gay. I wanted to play guitar when I was 5. I wanted to play when I was 6, 7, 8, 9, 10... 11... 12... and finally, at 13, I got one. Fuck, I'd be ripping right now if I had got one at 6.
