Jemfest 2006!!

hey guys!

i'm currently in Orlando at some internet cafe. it's fucking melting outside (loving every minute of it). Kevan and i left from his place yesterday around 10pm, and we got here about 2pm. his Durango was packed beyond belief (i'll upload some pictures when i can). we fit about 17 guitars, a Rivera rack, a Vetta II head, my Nomad 2x12, and two 4x12's (which actually went on the roof). oh yeah, and we fit a Roland V-Drum kit in there too. and stands, cables, and some clothes to wear

in case any of you local guys are planning on coming, we're at the Radisson on 192nd street in Orlando (or Kissimee, wherever

). ok, for sure, check out www.jemfest.com sometime tonight, as i believe Kevan and Gabe will be updating the site.

it's shaping up to be a killer weekend. hope to see some of you here!

wow, not much SS.org love for the Jemfest, huh. Bill made it (popsyche) and brought a swirled 7 string (a frankenguit, i can't remember it's parent pieces

) and a swirled RG570. my XV500 managed to catch the eye of two Ibanez reps, which was cool

the performances so far have been amazing. Fernando Pareta was fucking incredible. he was playing on an Ibanez Talman with lipstick pickups (oh yes, she will be mine), and man could he play. about 20 minutes ago Mike Martin just got done with his soundcheck, playing both a 6 string and a 7 string EBMM, and right now i just heard that Shane Regal showed up, and i think i hear him tearing some shit up right now, so, i'm outta here
