FS: Mesa Dual Rec

I've pretty much moved to an all rack setup, so I'm going to try to offload my Mesa that's not getting used any longer.

This is a 3 channel dual rectifier solo head, bought new in March of 2001 at Guitar Center, Roseville, MN.

Amp works perfectly, and is basically in new condition, no marks or scratches anywhere I can find. Comes complete with all paperwork, hang tags, slip cover, 5 button footswitch with cord, and power cable. Currently tubed with JJ El34/6L6 combo.

The case the amp is sitting on is a brand new Anvil case I purchased shortly before I stopped using amp ($250). The case has been used 1 time: to bring the amp home from my practice space. I'm hoping someone will buy both pieces; I'll feel much better about shipping the Mesa in this case.

Shipping will be pricey, will be the buyers responsibility, and I will not ship without insurance. I'd rather take money orders or bank checks on this one to avoid Paypal fees, but I'm willing to work with any interested parties to get a sale done.

My Ebay ID is 7slinger, 100%. I've had transactions on this forum with Freddie and Darren.

Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier Solo Head with Anvil Case - eBay (item 220189697572 end time Jan-13-08 21:52:22 PST)

P.S. You wouldn't find a cleaner Mesa if you went to GC. New solo heads are $1700 without a case. Buy this.

Odd question - when you've taken those photos with the lights on what was it plugged into a cab?

How snugly does it sit in the case?

good eye, I did not have a cab plugged in, but with my fiance helping me, the on/off was flicked for about 2 seconds for each one of those pics, just long enough to get a shot with the lights on each time. I've since moved my Recto 2x12 downstairs to where the head is, hooked them up and everything is working great.

The head sits VERY snug in the case. When I cased it and brought the head home from my practice space, I fit the head with it's power cord on top of it in the case and that's it. IIRC GC actually had the case labeled as an "Anvil Dual Rec head case"...the case itself doesn't say anything to that end on it, but I don't think you could find a better-fitting case for this head.

If anyone wants additional pics of anything, just ask.
