FS: Mesa/Boogie Road King head

My plan is to put this up on E-bay in a week or so, but I figured I'd try it out here first. I ordered my Roadster to replace it, because I just don't need all the options it provides. It is in excellent shape, has a brand new set of Mesa 6L6 power tubes (STR 440), and a set of EH El-34 power tubes (I can swap back in the original Mesa tubes if you prefer). The preamp tubes are all Mesa (9th gen Chinese).

I have the original footswitch and cable, footswitch bag, and amp cover. I don't have a PayPal account, so if you wish to do PayPal, you'll be sending the money to Mike's account (eaeolian). Not that this should pose a problem, since we're both mods and have great E-bay feedback, but I just want to be completely up front with you.

If you live outside of the US, then you have to send me a money order. Sorry, but the reason I don't have a PayPal account is because I got screwed by an international buyer on E-bay, so I just can't take the chance. I will also only ship this fully insured. If you live locally and wish to check this out, drop me a PM.

I am noodlesatf on E-bay, and have 100% positive feedback.

Jeez... is your Roadster already on its way? I thought you weren't expecting it for at least a few weeks! I didn't think we'd see your Road King up for sale so quickly.

Yeah, 6-8 weeks. However, I don't have a gig until June. In light of that, I figured I'd list it now, so I'm not sweating at the list minute trying to get the money to pay for the new one. I'd hate to take a dive on it because I didn't leave myself enough time.

right on man! yeah personally i thought the roadster sounded 10 times better than the road king and kept all the features that i cared about...

There's just no love for this Road King... it gets passed around like an ex-Division girlfriend.

I would have kept it, but I had two Road Kings, and when I left Division I didn't need a live amp and a studio amp.
