Brief & Accurate Description of gear/guitar: 5150 sig head. great shape. I just recently acquired this amp after a fresh re-tube. JJ's all around.

b-52 stealth series st100a? sovtek tubes. i use it with pedals not high enough gain for me. i play too much metal.

1994 Peavey Bandit? It's 100W when hooked to a 4x12 and takes pedals very well. It's not high gain but can be if boosted. I have an MXR ZW OD and a Boss GT8 into it through a hughes and kettner cabinet.

Have you tried running your pedals through your effects loop? If not, I think you'll be amazed at the reduced noise and fantastic tone. I recently woke up to this fact with my 6505+. Made a world of difference.
