Thumbs up Electro-Harmonix Big Muff Pi

Bought it a few months again for about $80. Very sturdy, came in metal casing, with the back wrapped in leather (came with batteries).Need a crew driver to take off the battery holder though.

Really easy to use. Theres a volume, which controls the volume of the fuzz. Theres a Tone, which allows a more "crisper" sound to come through (as opposed to just flat out fuzz). And then theres sustain, which is basically the amount of gain your using.

You can get a good amount of fuzz sounds out of it, from a really light old school style fuzz to saturated fuzz that destroys your mind. The unit (when you turn the sustain all the way up) allow for almost infinite sustain.

It works really good for single note likes and chords, but muting tends not to work so well, same with it as does playing really fast. So it's more like a slower heavy thing. And unlike some things (like my Wah at least) you can leave the battery in there and it won't drain it.

Although, it is a loud fucking pedal and if your using a lot of sustain and volume it you will probably need a noise suppressor of some kind.

All in all, it's a great pedal if your looking for some fuzz, whether it be a little bit or a lot of bit (even Electric Wizard style lot) it can do it. Has a classic look to it too. Awesome pedal.

Hell yeah they do.
I've tweaked it some more recently and learned how to quiet it down. I love the way it makes my guitar sounds.
