i played the 150 g3 last week and let me tell you if you were to buy any amp ever DO NOT BUY THIS, it lacks warmth definition and tone its extremely crunchy with no sustain i was thoroughly dissapointed......

Your guitar must just sound like ass because my V sounds like god and straight-out rules through my G2.

lol, stock Ibanezes are not worth using when trying to listen for tone...unless it's a sig model.

The Randalls are certainly much less forgiving than say, a Line 6 or Crate.

I'm just saying there's no reason to slag on dude's gear just because he didn't like the Randall. You like it, he didn't. Nothing wrong with that.

I was just saying my V sounds like god...which it does...it's quite amazing actually...decent guitar + EMG 81 = ownage somehow hahaha, I must've gotten a good piece of mahogany.

Fact still stands about Ibanezes though, the randalls do give a distinct tone, but I'd hardly call it not warm...it's actually too warm imo, too much bass and too warm...not crunchy enough...and remember, this is an 81 I'm using. Sustain has everything to do with your guitar and 0% to do with your amp for the record and nothing to do with sounding good either, my V250 sounds infinitely better than my H207 but the H207 has sustain and playability to die for.

Anyway, it's all about your opinion. Basically what I was trying to get across is that if something works well and you don't personally like it. Don't tell someone to 'stay away' because you don't like it. That's like "oh this old-school vox sucks because I play hardcore and it doesn't have enough gain" Whatever, it's still good even if you don't like it.

oooh man that was a lot of venting hahaha oh well

That would make sense in theory, but then why is the sustain w/ the same guitar on my Mesa amazing yet on my Krank it sucks? hah
