![]() | Podxt Live: Help with some tones (Patches included) I purchased the Metal Pack today and I am totally satisfied with it. However, I am still disappointed with the fact that I can't tweak the amps/cabs/effects etc.. to how I want it. I'm not looking for a specific tone or anything. I only want the tone to sound full and rich is all. Here's a zip file of 3 tones I created using the ENGL Powerball and the 5150. http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.ph...02630139487556 Here's a sample of 2 of the tones (5150) http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.ph...DFBCBC363E5A09 Tis' the moonshield ! I think I used too much chorus on lead bit though.Any kind of suggestion/modification will be extremely helpful. I've owned the XT Live for maybe 8 months+ yet I still pretty much a novice at recording and tone tweaking so I've done all I can with these tones .I've heard the samples of tones from this forum as well as the L6 forums and they're outstanding. Why can't my tones sound that good! ![]() P.S. I want these tones specifically for recording. If it helps, I play an Ibanez 7321 with EMG707's. I record using the USB cord into Adobe Audition. ~tehk Seven |

![]() | Good thread (even though I think there was another one just like it a while back) I'm getting some real nice new tones out of my XT live, but I'm having a hard time duplicating some of the settings I was getting out of my Spider II amp because of the added versatility (mics, cabs, etc...) LordOVChaos, I think I was actually an EQ setting you recommended for the Spider, but I can't get the same tone out of the XT ![]() ---------------------- Visit my band, 'Emulsifier.'
