I had a coworker who was really pushing them on me, so I tested them out and well, hmm, I just didn't like the bottom end on them at all, so I thought, try them with woofers. It sucked a lot of power, but I still wasn't at all happy with the sound. So he put them up for sale, and asked $2000 for them, no sale. Put them up again at $1800...no sale...etc. Still for sale.
you see - those are those shitty cube things - fuck those they always sucked - see if you can try the older bose floorstanding models - thats how they made a name for the, selves and started selling everyone shit

My parrot will kick your ass

See, I remember trying them at GC too, and thinking the same thing, but I really liked the concept, and my buddy uses one for his Pod XT and raves about it. So at the last show I did with my last band, we went through his Bose system, and except for the times when he was overdriving the mixer, I was amazed. It was the first show I had done with the Agiles too, and up to that point I had only heard them in headphones, so to hear that exact same tone, live, through speakers, was amazing.

I left the band after that for other issues, but for at least that one night, sound was not one of them.

My biggest issues with them right now is the price, for 2000$ a pop, I just can't see it for it me only, I'd maybe get a pair for the whole band to use as an onstage monitor, but not for just me.
