The slow rack rebuilding
Well, so far so good. Now am looking for a nice rack noise gate, then waiting on the power amp being fixed and I'll be back in business! Pukka!
Todays new little toy is the G-Major, and it's been fun and keeping me from doing the work I am supposed to be doing! Meanwhile, lovely lovely lights :p |

looks like he's got the Mesa TriAxis in there.
can you use the noise gate on the G-Major?
I have a radical idea. The door swings both ways,
we could reverse the particle flow through the gate. We'll cross the streams. |

Nice setup. Looks like you're on the right step. If you need a rack noise gate... I'm thinking of selling my ISP Decimator ProRackG. But it's not setup for euro voltage.

Nice rack. [Insert breast joke here]. Mine's coming along, but my rack tuner's been delayed until the end of March. I'm phoning to chase it up today. No fucking way am I waiting a month from when I ordered it!
We'll have to compare setups. I need more flashing lights though. ![]() |

Yeah, the setup really does need a noise gate, as gating the triaxis in it's FX loops is a bit of a lost cause, it really needs one between it and the power amp, and before it doesn't hurt either.
I'm currently eyeballing a rocktron pro-hush unit, ojne of the midi switchable ones. Here's hoping it won't go for too much as it seems thast that's what I need! Quote:

Hey anyone seen the new Behringer BTR200? Im realy thinking about this one, its a rack tuner / Metronome built in. AMS has it for about $60 something and I thought I saw it at music 123 for around $50. I have a small Sabine handheld that runs off a battery, and I love the thing, I think I paid somewhere around 30 for it. Anyone got any thoughts?
