Happiness for under $500

Is there such a thing? You bet there is! Let's have a bit of fun.

I always love finding good quality new gear at affordable prices.
Is there any new gear under $500 that you have a lasting love for?
By that I mean, a piece of gear you would use yourself as well as whole-heartedly recommend to others?

So far, my list includes...
Steinberger Spirit GU-series guitars (killer axe!)
Kramer Striker guitars (awesome Ibanez S-series alternative)
Agile Interceptor guitars (the RG7 killer!)
Marshall MG series amps (crushing metal tone & brutal with a BBE thrown in the FX loop)
Behringer guitar cabinets (Chunk-o-liscious!)
BBE Sonic Maximizers (the magic box....nuff said)
Line6 PODxt Live (great tones, user-friendly, versatile and ungradeable. Even better with a BBE)
OLP guitars (there are some real gems from time to time. Great guitars for upgrading projects)

Schecter guitars. Any of them.
Maxon OD pedals, or any OD infront of an amp. I've never heard an amp NOT sound better with one infront.
I know you said new, but used 5150's are brutal as fuck.
Avatar Cabinets.
Rode NT-1.
Studio Projects VTB-1.
PODxt with Metalpack.

+1 on OLP Guitars - absolutely awesome for the price. I regret selling mine all the time. Okay, so maybe it isnt the most top quality guitar out there - but damn are they good for the $$$

Ibanez RG321 - again, just awesome for the cash. Great for down-tuning and modding with some new p/ups.

Behringer V-Amp 2 - great little units for next to no money. Great sounds and you can take it anywhere you like.

Ibanez ToneBlaster Amps - especially the TB100H head. I just got mine on Thursday, and I cannot believe the tones this thing throws out. I bought it because of the reviews I have read, including Shannons review of it last year. AWESOME chunky metal tone
