In the marker for a great/strong leather guitar strap? what do you guys use?

ok, i recently bought this guitar and want a leather strap and some strap locks because i would just kill myself if anything happened to it (like hit the floor because i have a cheap strap without locks). i had bought dimarzio's straps in the past, the ones that clip on) and were good, but i hate the thought of them scratching such a beauty. so i want a strap below 40 bucks or so, to have both looks and strengh to hold the guitar, and also feel right on my shoulder? do you guys have any suggestions for me? also strap locks, which ones work best.

I just use cheapass straps and these:

Dunlop Ergo lok

Works just fine. Never had a strap come off in 6 shows and 2 practices a week since january.

Glory and praise to Thee, Satan, on high,
Where Thou didst reign, in Hell where Thou dost lie,
Vanquished, silent, dreaming eternally.
Grant that my soul some day rest close to Thee
Under the Tree of Knowledge which shall spread
Its branches like a Temple overhead.

I don't believe in straplocks myself. They generally feel cheap and wobbly, and sometimes can unhook when you least expect it.
To me the best way to put a strap on a guitar is by using the oversized strap buttons (or whatever they're called) that Ibanez uses on their RG series for example (or used to use anyway, not sure if they still do).
It's nearly impossible to get the strap on, but once it's on, it's nearly impossible to get it off.

Which brings me to the next issue. I use only those "car seatbelt" style straps. There are pretty comfortable ones, like the ones from Levy's. And the beauty is that they are easy to fold up. So when I put my guitar in a bag or case or whatever, I simply fold up the strap and place it over the strings/neck, so it nicely fits in without taking the strap off.
So I never have to take off the strap, meaning there's no wear on the holes, so it will stay on perfectly.

I've never had my RG fall off in the 11 years I've been using it.

I put my trust in Levi's guitar straps! I have 3 of them and they are all great! The one that I have on my RG7421 I bought with the guitar in 99 and it's still holding up very well.

By the way - Sweet guitar!

Here is a pic of the Levi's strap with Jim Dunlop straplocks. It's a side view but it's the only pic I have.
